I currently oversee all e-commerce related channels for six Chicagoland Hyatt hotels, including Hyatt Regency Chicago, Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, Hyatt Regency O’Hare, Park Hyatt Chicago, Hyatt Lodge at McDonald’s Campus and Hyatt Chicago Magnificent Mile as well as Hyatt Regency Indianapolis.
I create and implement online marketing and content strategies for multiple channels including social media, websites, e-mail campaigns, online advertisements and online reputation management. I am responsible for creating best practices, new social and digital initiatives for each hotel, as well as creating and increasing online revenue in addition to writing and editing any and all website and image updates for each hotel. I also invest in creating relevant strategic partnerships and relationships with local and national businesses while also focusing on maintaining and increasing current customer support, engagement and loyalty.

Working as BCVevolve’s first hire and Social Media Strategist, I created innovative ways to incorporate social media into each and every one of our client’s various industries at a time when not many were using social media as marketing tools. I created social media campaigns and found a way to bridge the gap between various social media networks being used. I also assisted with gaining followers, while managing social media content to drive engagement and revenue. I also created targeted Facebook ads to incorporate with various campaigns as a way to increase fans and compliment all online campaigns and messages. I assisted with creating videos and shot professional photos to use on social media for various campaigns. I built manual monthly reporting documents to track performance and revenue, as well as developing monthly protocols for clients and employee training tools to assist future employees.

I updated, managed and interacted with Trinsic Twitter followers daily, while posting interesting relevant advertising and marketing articles as well as start conversations about upcoming social media trends. I maintain and update articles on Twitter site daily to continue to promote advertising agency’s capabilities. I also facilitate discussions within the advertising community. I read, post and retweet relevant articles from advertising and business journal sites, and find new trends to discuss.

Co-President/Board Member at College Mentors for Kids

I interviewed, hired and trained 120 new mentors and 14 staff members, while also helping to coordinate and schedule 4 different weekly activities that focus on higher education at Indiana University. I also supervised on campus activities, communicating directly with the local grade school teachers and principals, bus drivers and College Mentor headquarters in Indianapolis. I also started a College Mentors for Kids @ IU Facebook page as well as a CMFK @ IU twitter page to keep college students informed as well as inform the local and state-wide community about this non-profit.
